Inside the bookshop

A tall wooden case under a hanging banner lettered STAFF PICKS in red. Face-out novels stand on every shelf, each with a printed card beside it headed STAFF PICK BY and a bookseller's first name, and a child's hand reaches into the frame at the left. — Staff picksInterlibrary loan: this one is from Quail Ridge Books in Raleigh, not Kindred Stories.
